Devin's story
I’ve loved filmmaking for as long as I can remember. As a kid I ran through my neighborhood with a Super 8 camera, making short films with friends and learning how to tell stories with whatever I could find. That early curiosity became the foundation for everything that followed.
My first real break came at Propaganda Films, where I directed music videos during what, to me, was one of the most exciting and creative times in the business. I was also part of the Panavision New Filmmaker Program, which shaped my early understanding of the craft and the power of visual storytelling.
Much of my early career was spent on the road, living on tour buses with Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Papa Roach, Korn, and P.O.D. among others, creating content and capturing their stories. Those experiences gave me a true understanding of the ecosystem of artist life, the highs and lows of performing, and the energy that connects music and audience.
Over the years I built a career producing and directing concert films, live broadcasts, and music documentaries through my company Fortress Entertainment. I’ve had the privilege of working with artists across every genre including Ghost, Laufey, Harry Styles, Chappell Roan, Justice, Selena Gomez, KISS and others, as well as producing broadcasts for Outside Lands, Rock in Rio, EDC, Lollapalooza, and Bonnaroo.
I am a Grammy voting member, part of the Producers Guild of America, an avid vinyl collector, and live in Pasadena, California.
