Gemma's story
I’ve always wanted to work in the film industry for as long as I can remember. I started straight out of university, from the bottom up, as a runner in Soho for a film production company. After a couple of years of working in development, I moved into Film Distribution and I’ve never looked back! Over the years I’ve worked primarily in Marketing for film distribution, dipping my toes into development and production along the way. I’ve worked for small independent distributors to much larger organisations like Pinewood Studios, and released small foreign language films and big blockbuster movies. No one experience is ever quite the same.
I love working on new ways we can connect with our audiences. Moving to Trafalgar has expanded my horizons both in terms of global distribution and the world of music too, which has been new and very exciting. I love working with a team, and across our diverse slate of projects.
