London, October 8, 2025 – Trafalgar Releasing announces the promotion of Emily Cecil-Dennett to Director of Production, recognising her outstanding contribution to the company since joining in March 2014.
In her new role, Emily will continue to lead all production elements at the company, spanning film capture, live broadcast, and global distribution. Her expertise and leadership have been instrumental in delivering productions that set a benchmark for connecting music and theatre audiences worldwide.
With Trafalgar Releasing’s growing investment capabilities and increased role as a producer, Emily’s promotion reflects the company’s commitment to strengthening every stage of its production work, including film capture, live broadcasts from multiple continents, and international distribution to cinemas worldwide. Her direction has ensured Trafalgar consistently delivers world-class productions to audiences globally, cementing the company’s reputation as a leader in event cinema.
Since 2020, Trafalgar has expanded its live broadcast output, delivering more than 30 projects to cinemas worldwide. Highlights include Coldplay Music of the Spheres Live Broadcast from Buenos Aires, BTS: Permission to Dance On Stage – Seoul: Live Viewing from Korea, Metallica’s M72 World Tour live from Arlington, Texas, USA, SEVENTEEN TOUR ‘FOLLOW’ TO JAPAN: LIVE VIEWING from Fukuoka, Japan, The Rocky Horror Show Live from Theatre Royal Sydney in Australia, and Help! I Sexted My Boss from London, the first UK podcast shown live in cinemas across Europe.
The company has also broadened its investment and production activities, taking producer roles on several major projects. Emily’s credits as Producer for Trafalgar Releasing include the five-star West End adaptation A Little Life, the celebrated revival Kiss Me Kate, A Christmas Carol: A Ghost Story, written by and starring Mark Gatiss, and the two acclaimed Shakespeare adaptations Macbeth: David Tennant & Cush Jumbo and Macbeth: Ralph Fiennes & Indira Varma. As Executive Producer, her credits include Coldplay Music of the Spheres Live Broadcast from Buenos Aires and Imagine Dragons: Live From The Hollywood Bowl (with the LA Film Orchestra).
